What is
the most important thing to do to make my windows and doors operate
smoothly? The single most important factor in smooth operation
of our product is a plumb and square installation. If your casement
or door does not close easily, check it with a level, a square
and a plumb line. Make this check BEFORE stucco is applied.

Painted Finishes: Use water and a mild detergent to clean
painted finishes.
To Clean
Anodized Finishes: Use turpentine or paint thinner to clean
surfaces and then rinse with water and a mild detergent.
Maintain
Roto Operators: Clean and lubricate tracks (under the window
ventilators) and operate arm and grease the gear every few years
or less depending on job conditions.

Friction Hinges (4-bar scissor hinges): Clean and lubricate
pivot points with light machine oil (3 in 1 oil) at least every
year.

Multi-Point Door Hardware: Use light machine oil to lubricate
the multi-points every 6 months - depending upon job conditions.
If doors are in close proximity to ocean, multi-point hardware
should be cleaned and lubricated with greater frequency.
