Over the years, Metal Window Corporation has been challenged by our customers with a wide variety of conditions and applications. In many cases, the situations require unique or different operations of windows. In keeping with our objective of satisfying our customers' needs, we have had to search for hardware that can accomplish the goal.

Metal Window Corporation has been manufacturing aluminum casement windows and doors for over forty years. Throughout that time there have been many changes within the industry. Swinging Doors 2500 Series l Back to Top
Our 2500 series doors are hung on butt hinges and have lock boxes that are drilled for customers’ hardware. MWC does not supply handle set hardware for this series. The standard bore is 2-1/8” diameter over 2-1/8 diameter at 5” on center with a 2-3/4” backset. On this series the inactive leaf of a pair of doors is secured using 6" Slide Bolts at the head and sill. Slide bolts are provided in white bronze (silver in appearance) or oil rubbed bronze. Our 3000 series doors are hung on our European Hinge which is adjustable in 3 axis. These doors use Hoppe’s multi-point locking system with Hoppe #117 handle sets as our standard. The inactive leaf of a pair of doors is secured by an internal shoot bolt that engages into the head and sill. For threshold options please see our door details 3A/3B/3C. Our 3500 Series Sliding Doors offer three (3) handle options and two (2) lock options. We also offer two (2) wheel choices, a 1-13/16” Diameter stainless steel tandem wheel assembly or our Elite 3” Diameter all stainless steel precision bearing tandem wheel assembly. Our 4000 Series Multi-Slide doors offer three (3) handle options and two (2) lock options. Our Elite 3” Diameter all stainless steel precision bearing tandem wheel assembly is used exclusively on the 4000 Series. We offer two (2) sill tracks, our ¾” low profile track and a recessed track. Option 1 “C Pull” with Adams Rite Maximum Security hook lock, thumb turn interior only with optional key cylinder at exterior. Pulls are available in standard black or silver paint and can be custom painted to match your project. Cylinders and thumb turns are offered as clear and bronze anodized. "C" Pull w/Adams Rite Security Lock T-turn interior only Optional add key cylinder to exterior Option 2 “Tubular Pull” with Adams Rite Maximum Security hook lock, thumb turn interior only with optional key cylinder at exterior. Pulls are available in brushed stainless steel, bronze, and custom painted to match your project. Cylinders and thumb turns are offered as clear or bronze anodized. Tubular Pull w/Adams Rite Max Security Lock T-turn @ interior only Optional add key cylinder to exterior Option 3 “Flush Hardware” by Adams Rite is available in either black or silver and is used in pocket door installation and where a flush lock is desired.
